Why Founders Shouldn’t Build Systems Too Early

Please don’t build systems.

Wait… did I just say that?

Yes. Don’t rush to build systems, write SOPs, or set up a fancy CRM when you’re just starting out.

Here’s the truth:

– Systems are multipliers, not magicians.
– They multiply whatever already exists.

If your offer works → systems 10x it.

If your offer doesn’t → systems 10x the losses.

If you’re still finding product–market fit, systems will just help you lose money faster.

Do this first:

– Talk to customers
– Note what’s working
– Fix what’s not
– Find the one thing people truly value and will pay for

Then systemize it.

That’s when systems turn 1 into 10… and 10 into 100.

But if you multiply zero, it’s still zero — just better organized.
